What is Hackwell 2.0?
Hackwell 2.0 is a 48-hour long virtual hackathon, powered by Honeywell, where you can code, design and create futuristic solutions to real-life problems. Its predecessor, Hackwell 1.0 witnessed tremendous participation with 90+ teams from 25+ colleges including IITs, NITs and other prestigious colleges across Karnataka. Honeywell will provide mentors to guide the teams, and judge the solutions developed during the event.

Located at the southwestern outskirts of Bangalore is an almost quarter-century-old institute, JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bengaluru (JSSATE-B), under the umbrella of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru. - What is the criteria for participation?
Anyone can participate as long as they are currently enrolled in a certified college, pursuing a degree. It is also mandatory for all the members of the team to be from the same college.
- What should the size of the team be?
A team can have a maximum of 4 members, belonging to the same college
- Do we need to build a full application or is a prototype fine?
A working prototype should suffice.
- Is it an invite-only hackathon?
Yes, you will be shortlisted based on your profile. On being selected, your team will receive a personalised invite for Hackwell.
- Will there be any certificates provided?
Yes, digital certificates will be provided to all participants of Hackwell.
- Are there any restrictions on number of prebuilt libraries being used?
There is no restriction to use any particular language, technology stack, or libraries.
- What other support will be provided?
Mentors for each domain will be provided to assist you with your queries.
Datasets will also be provided for each problem statement.
- Can a team register for more than one domain?
During the final stage, the team will have to choose a single domain to work on.
